“St. Louis – Wish You Were Hair” by Pam RuBert is one the chosen pieces. This is the second time that Pam’s work has been featured in Fiberart International biennial exhibition. In 2007 her quilt “The Vintage Purse” was part of the traveling exhibition.
The exhibition features best in contemporary fiber art worldwide — jurors Mary Ruth Smith an art professor from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, Rebecca A.T. Stevens, a consulting curator for contemporary textiles at the Textile Museum in Washington, D.C., and Danish textile designer Vibeke Riisberg, an associate professor at the Designskolen Kolding — selected 87 works from over 1.685 entries submitted from 30 countries around the world.
For a full color catalog and more photos of the exhibition, go to the Fiberart International website.
