I made this quilt as a part of a series about my surroundings. The purpose was to look around us. For this quilt I didn't search for physical elements in my neighborhood as a subject, but I tried to create an atmosphere.

"La vie en rose" is a French expression, and in this quilt you could translate as "seeing life through pink glasses."

In life it's not always easy to create a happy and cheerful atmosphere in the family, but we have to try because a good atmosphere keeps life easier and healthier.
